Policy Papers – time to rewrite history.

Europe’s digital sovereignty is a key prerequisite for economic competitiveness, political capacity to act and social resilience. Our initiative is committed to strengthening this sovereignty through an open European web data infrastructure. As part of our three-year research project, we were able to demonstrate that this approach is technically, organisationally and economically feasible. Scientific publications and further analyses underpin the potential and importance of an open web data infrastructure for Europe.

On this page, we publish policy papers designed to help decision-makers in politics, administration and industry to make informed assessments of the opportunities and requirements of a sovereign web data infrastructure. They invite consultation and offer guidance for concrete measures.
