“Verified & Evidence-based Multilingual Information System” (VERITAS) addresses the growing challenge of misinformation by providing a multilingual information verification platform based on Large Language Models and the Open Web Index. The project will implement a browser plugin, enabling users to access verified information and research tools across languages.

Piercosma Bisconti Lucidi is a EU Standard Leader in “AI Trustworthiness Framework”, Co-Founder of DEXAI and a Researcher.
With a PhD in Technology Ethics at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies the Co-founder of DEXAI and Researcher in Ethics of Artificial Intelligence at the Interuniversity Consortium of Computer Science (CINI), Piercosma Visconti Lucidi is an expert in the European (CEN-CENELEC) and international (ISO) standardization bodies. He is also project leader of the European standard “AI Trustworthiness Framework”. Previously he also worked as Ethics Officer at the European Commission (in ERCEA), as well as Ethics Manager for multiple Horizon EU research projects.
