#OpenWebSearch Community Updates
Are you a researcher, entrepreneur, inventor, politician, … – interested in Open Websearch, its chances and challenges? Then we offer you the opportunity to join the monthly community meetings where the latest developments are presented and discussed in a regular basis.
The 45-min community updates take place online on the BigBlueButton platform every first Monday of the month.
To take part, please write an email to: community@openwebsearch.eu. You will receive a link and access key for the BigBlueButton virtual room.
Please also note our ground rules for the meetings, which we have summarised below.
Bring your own: There is also the opportunity to present your own OWS-relevant topics and research and get feed-back. Please make sure to submit your presentation topic no later than the Thursday before a meeting.

#OpenWebSearch Community Updates: Our Policies
We believe that the best results can be reached collaboratively. This community update serves as a continuous exchange platform. Please honor our meeting etiquette to ensure the best possible experience for everyone:
- If possible, be on time and check your audio before connecting to the meeting
- Please register with your real name
- During the meeting, be polite and respectful
- Use your camera if possible. We are not an anonymous community. Having faces on screen is more welcoming than seeing tiles
- Raise your hand (via the BBB button) before you speak
- If you want something specific to be addressed or give an impulse speech, send your ideas to: community@openwebsearch.eu beforehand for consideration.
